A Sonic Love Letter to Hong Kong

Through layers of ambisonic textures and urban melodies, “Geosonics - A Love Letter" by Delf and polun transport listeners on a journey through the streets and soul of one of the world's most vibrant yet ever-changing city, Hong Kong.

Sampling only field recordings of Hong Kong's ambient sounds and music, the producers have sonically manipulated and contextualized these environmental snippets - what may seem like mere background noise - to imbue them with rhythm, musicality, and genres.

透過混音音效與城市旋律的層層交織,Delf 和 polun 創作的《Geosonics - A Love Letter》將聽眾帶入了世界最充滿活力但也在不斷變化的城市之一香港的街頭與靈魂。

整張專輯的聲音來源都是以地理定位為基礎，嚴格來說僅限於香港的環境聲音和音樂作實地錄音採樣，這兩位製作人通過對聲音的處理和重新上下文設定，賦予了這些從外表看似僅是背景噪音的環境片段節奏感、音樂性以及各種曲式流派的元素。
